ctr pistons on ls rods??
you need to mill 1mm off each side of the small end of the rod. but consider p30 or p73's instead. they're lighter and provide a much more reasonable compression ratio. p30's fit with no modifications, p73's require the same mods as ctr's.

p30's have a slightly bigger dome

p30's give you a little more compression than jdm p73's. it's up to you.

i dont like shaving the head to increase compression for a few reasons...
1. it affects timing
2. it affects piston to valve clearances
3. it's permanant
4. you can ony mill so many times, once you go past that the head is junk
if i were to mill the head it would only be the absolute minimum to get the head flat again.
