I <U>never</U> listen to the radio in my car, and I am getting sick of the antenna going up when I am listening to a CD. I know some people have rigged up an antenna switch, but I don't want to do that...

What is the easiest way to just disconnect the antenna to keep it from going up?

 

disconnect the radio

 

Uninstall your left-rear plastic panel (~5 mins)... undo the wiriting from inside.

 

Cut the yellow/green wire on the radio harness.

 

Break the antenna off

 

unplug the harness going into the motor in the hatch
