Probably the worst pictures you could have possibly taken.

Tail = ftl.

Awwwwwww man, I NEVER ! Talk down on people's mod's to their bikes, BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT I have to say something about the tail.

That is just horrible! Thats something you'd see on a GSXR not a honda, let alone the RC !! But hey, it's your bike you like it, so rock it as you like !!

I don't think you'll have to worry about another RC looking like that....

How you like the RC? It's a nice bike, and if you like a velvet tail then more power to ya.

Only suggestion, I'd clip those zip ties on the plate...

That made me LOL, so subtle yet so true.

No offense obviously but I do love your bike other than the tail.

Just a question for everyone....what was the purpose of the RC? I mean you have the 600 and the 1000, what was the point. I love the bike but just never knew the purpose for it.

To race and win against the Duc 916/996/998 in WSBK. With CEii, it took the championship in 2000 and 2002. In AMASBK, Nicky Hilton...oops, Hayden...won the 2002 Championship.

I love the bike, The sound at 9500 rpm is incredible the corners can be taken with ease the only thing is it's not really a bike to just go out and go to the store with cuz it's not that comfortable, but everthing else it awesome. And as far as the velvet i dont know where the guy got it. I bought it from my old boss. He Bought it in 2001 and put the velvet on in 2002 he never rode the thing in 2006 i bought it with 4800 miles on it. I took it to the dealer and was going to have the OG plastics put back on which came with the bike, but i liked how it was different and in the sun it looks good in the pics the bike is dirty to.

lol thats why its dirty. I never just hose the thing down and it has never seen a raindrop. I wash it by hand with a damp cloth with some soap on it. It takes a long time to do right. I was gong to do a lot to in Sept and Oct but there was family emrgency and didnt have time to wash and wax it real good. Now its gettin cold so it will stay in the garage till next season.

Yea i know what you mean, i've got 2 zips on my plate to hold it on, and 2 screws for the blinkers (I made the plate hanger out of sheet metal)

I was just suggesting that you cut them closer, they are kinda long in my opinion.

I want an RC, all you guys on here with v-twins make me jealous. I hate having to rev the **** outta my bike to get it going.

yeah i guess i never noticed how much slack i left on them till i just looked i'm gonna go cut off the excess right now i think. Yeah there are a lot of nice RC out there for sale. they are a kinda rare, well i mean i've only see one other one in 5 years around chicago. But a lot of people who own them take good care of them and really don't ride them. If you check e-bay there are a lot sp1 and sp2 bikes with less then 10,000 miles on the clock. i can tell you that im am never going to sell mine unless i absoultley have to, or Honda makes the rumored RC61 a 1200cc v-twin. And "knock on wood" if ever total it, i will either buy another one i will go with another v-twin superbike like a Ducati or a Aprilia. I rode my buddies 1000RR it was real nice but i just love the twins. You should see the guys on Harleys when i pull next to them. They dont know what the hell is going on.

As a previous owner RC owner i have to say i'm saddened by this.
The velvet is only part of the bike, so it doesn't match, besides the fact that it looks trashy/tacky.
The bike is filthy.
The "neons" only come out of the tail section?? It's called a brake light.
The red bar ends and mirror stalks look out of place.
The unclipped zipties...wow.

And then to top it off, you can't say "corners can be taken with ease" since it doesn't look like you've even leaned that bike over.

I say boo this bike

Who needs to buy a gold chain when you can just let your stock rust so it "looks" gold
