Default ob2 to obd1 engine conversion

i have an obd2 b16 i swaped into my crx. i spoke with one of the guys from hasport performance and he told me that it would b alot easier to convert my motor to obd1 bc ecu was a lot easier to mangage. he said all i need to do to convert it was to change the dizzy, alt, injectors, and tap into the intake for the air intake temp sensor(some **** like that).

is this all that needs to b done to engine for it to b and obd1???

thanks fellas

There's some things you'd haveta do to your car actually.

I've just put in a b18c into my car and it's OBD2. You'll definitely need a conversion harness for your ECU. and yes you do need to change the dizzy/alt/injectors... not sure about the intake air temp sensor cuz mine was just on the top and i had a plug for it.

You can change all of the above to OBD1 dizzy/alt/injectors or you can use your existing obd2 dizzy and all that but you have to depin it and re-wire it... which ever is more convenient for you...

I know for mine I also had to remove the injector resistor box at the top right hand side of the engine bay (when looking directly at the engine) since OBD0 (your stock CRX injectors) use less voltage than the OBD1/2 injectors.

Hope this was helpful!
