rebuild the block while you're at it. they like more compression than stock. 11:1+

I think that is overpriced by a couple hundred dollars. You can probably get it for under $1000 if you shop around. Or maybe just get the RM package for that price.

hey there you have a question bout bc4 head package, i bought the package myself i jus havent put the cams in yet becuz i had to smog my car while back now i pass smog. i tried to put the cams in but it didnt start in my car becuz i was usin my stock ecu, you have tune ur car for those cams like with hondata or with other engine management, but i think worth tryin it out , if it doesnt work for you , you can alway sell the cams and keep the valvetrain. but i will let you know when i put those cams in.

I'm using the spec 4 package, you'll need higher compression for them. For me they work great all around.

Thats actually a pretty damn good deal for BC Camshafts, cam gears, valves and retainers. I'd say go for it. With Buddy Club you know what you're getting.

That is not a good deal, that is like 200-300 overpriced. You can get this package
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWD1V

which inluded BC4 cams, cam gears and dual valvesprings for 750 shipped, and get some RM or BC retainers for like $150-200.

$1200 is not a good deal, even if you bought everything seperate you could still find it cheaper than $1200. You're a fool if you pay that much.

passwordjdm and inline4 are a few of the highest priced shops. If you shop around and buy things seperate, you can get BC4 cams for 450-500, cam gears for 160-170, VS for 180-200, rets. 150-200. Even seperate that's less than $1100. So how is a $1200 'Package Deal' a good deal?

Don't get me wrong, BC makes great products, i run BC3 in my DD, but 1200 for a so called "packaged deal" that's rediculous. For that much money you can get a RM package and make more power for less also.

Assuming no milling or decking and your running a stock HG, your at around
11.7-11.8:1 CR. Great CR for BC4 when tuned

Are the threads saturated or just the tips. If the threads are saturated most likely you need to replace your spark plug grommets. If its just the tips, maybe you rings

Just change the grommets yourself, its as easy as changing the vavle cover gasket.
