Default SWAP INFO.

i started my frankenstein.. B18C6 (JDM TYPE R)LONG BLOCK AND B16B HEAD MOTOR. iM WONDERING IF ANYBODY KNOWS WHERE I CAN GET SOME GOOD CAMS.. PREFEREABLY A TYPE R CAMS THAT ARE LEGIT. i see some online but im not confident that they're the same specs. i PRETTY MUCH NEED THE WHOLE HEAD ASSEMBLY. (valves, sprockets, cams, timing specs) i JUS BOUGHT THE HASPORT MOUNTS. ANYBODY KNOW IF THOSE ARE MORE RELIABLE THAN ANY OTHER LEADING BRAND.??

I don't think JDM Honda motors had a number at the end of the engine code.

To make this B16 head better than the B18c6 head (which is EDM), you'll need to at least mildly port it, same with the intake manifold (if you opt for a stock B16 one). Then the cams (at least ITR) and valvetrain are up to you.

You probably already knew this, all Type-R heads and intake manifolds are ported from the factory by hand, the whole engine is handbuilt. They do this with any Type-R (dc2, dc5, ek9, ep3, Accord Type-R, NSX-R, and the new Civic Type-R).
