I thought I would only needed a OBD1 LS ecu or a jumper harness from boomslang or somewhere but my buddy told me I would have to get an OBD1 dizzy/alternator/starter/etc. Who is right?

You don't need OBD1 alt, starter, dizzy if you use the OBD2 harness that comes with the B18. You can run an OBD1 P75.

So use the b18's harness, an OBD1 ecu (p74/75), rewire the O2 sensor, and it's good to go ecu/electrical wise?

thats funny, i didnt know that OBD type made a difference when it came to a starter.. last i checked a starter was a starter.. there wasnt anything that went from the starter into the ECU or OBD circuit.. i think your "buddy" needs a kick in the cherry's for stupidity..
oh yea, same thing with the alternator.
as for the dizzy, that only matters if the harness is oOBD2 cause the plugs on the harness and dizzy are different.

so thats 3 kicks in the nuts for society sake.. he doesnt need to procreate...

was i a little harsh? oh ******* well..

lol, did I mention that this guy was trying to tell me how hard my swap would be and that I should sell it to him?

I have a OBD2 dizzy from the ls. I have both harnesses. I figure I should use the LS harness and just get an OBD1 p74 or p75.
