Default Wilwood 6 piston calipers, 11.75" rotors, and they fit under 15x7 wheels!

I'll get to test these at the first race of next season, but I'd sell them for the right price (seriously)! I believe this is the largest kit you'll be able to fit under a 15" wheel. It doesn't fit with Kosei 15x7 K1s (hence the reason why I'm selling mine) or Rota Slipstreams. The best part is the 12.2" rotors use the same hat, so if/when I move up to 16" wheels with the new 225/45/16 R888, I can easily move up to a larger rotor.

Thats bad ***, I have been looking for a setup like that forever that will fit under my 15x8 slicks. Is this a custom designed kit?

It's a semi-custom kit. If you're interested in one, let me know.

1 bend in your rim and you smoke a caliper. Not something I'd gamble with. However, seems you have a track car, so it's not like gonna be commuting on pot-holed roads.

It wouldn't worry about bending a 15inch rim. Maybe a 16. Sweet setup though. What pads and rotors are you running? Stock calipers on rear?

Dang that's tight clearances.. Did you measure the gap between the Caliper and the Wheel?

So this setup only clears certain wheels... Did you measure to find out the difference between the ones it did and the ones it didn't fit under??

That is pretty sick, but that looks like a Team Dynamics rim, I had some of those before and they have clearance the same as alot of 16in rims. i doubt that setup will fit in many other 15in rims.

I have two sets of pads right now, Hawk DTC30 and Cobalt XR2 pads. Both are race only pads. It's not a street car. Stock calipers on the rear. The piston area is very close to the stock caliper, and the larger rotor shifts the brake bias forward slightly, which is actually preferred.

It takes a pretty big hit to get a wheel completely out of round. The only wheels I've bent during offs caused bent lips or a flat spot on the backside. Usually the spokes are strong enough on the front to prevent flat spots.

The clearance is about 2mm to 3mm at the closest points, maybe even more. I need to measure it with feeler gauges to know for sure.

Most 16" wheels won't have a problem, except for spoke clearance. I'm 99.99% sure 16x7 Slipstreams in +40mm offset will fit, as we tried +45mm with a 5mm spacer (the only difference between the two wheels is the thickness of the hub pad). The Kosei K1 is not close to fitting because of the ID of the wheel close to the spokes. The same reason for the 15x8 Slipstreams, but the Slipstreams just barely touch. You could probably remove some material from the edges of the caliper and they'd fit fine on the 15x8s.

That is correct. They're 15x7 Team Dynamics Pro Race 1 wheels, +40mm offset. Not many Preludes run 15s, so it's not too much of an issue. You can always mount the caliper slightly closer to the rotor and/or remove some of the non-structural material around the edges of the caliper to get more clearance (although I personally wouldn't want to do it).

BTW, I'll try to weigh everything tomorrow to see how much weight is saved. I'm hoping for 20 lbs or so, but I'm guessing it'll be closer to 15 lbs.
