Default radiator

sup guys i have a 90 Si with a ls in it. Problem is that i just changed my old crusty radiator yesterday and the car doesnt want to warm up all the way. I noticed that the previous owner wired the fan so it would be on all the time. Is there a way to make the fan work with the thermostat?

Yes, you have to somehow wire it to the Thermoswitch.

Hopefully someone can help find you a wiring diagram or something, because I don't have anything on hand...

bump for your post!

Its on the thermostat housing, its a little two pin switch.

hook one of those wires to the control side (coil) of the fan relay, and the other to ground.

That way when the engine gets hot, the switch will close, energize the control side of the relay, and close the high amp connection to the fan, turning it on. This is how most cars kick the fan on.

follow your lower radiator hose to where it connects to the engine that is your thermostat housing
