Default Question on N1 exhaust vs. Skunk2

Alright I know you guys probably get sick of reading question like these but i did went under the Integra Faqs and did use the search button. Okay i was cruising ebay last night and i cam along this exhaust

JDM N1 FULL EXTREME FULL T-304 Stainless Steel Catback Exhaust System

I was wondering if this exhaust will sound nice on my car, or if someone has purchased it in the past that they could give me some feedback. I did check out some videos on youtube it sounded really nice but i wanted to know if it increased any gains.

My other question to you H-T members is what do you think about the Skunk2 exhaust. I did search this on the H-T.com and there were alot of mixed signals and vibes. Wanted to know from a person view that has purchased either of these exhaust and get there input on them. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

i'm going to be getting the skunk2 exhaust, just because they have done so much work with honda's. I have got some of their other stuff on my car and have been not let down. It would probably be cheaper to go with a custom, but then again skunk2 probably has lots of money in R&D into the flow of their exhaust. That being said, it's an exhaust and it's not going to result in much of a hp gain anyway. Skunk2 IMO, good stuff.

if that's a tsudo exhaust, then the gaskets are really shitty.

If your setup consists of minor bolt ons go with an Apexi WS2. Decent modest tone in traffic and a good sound at WOT. I had one on my 95 prelude a while back.

It's all about preference. You do need to realise however that any N1 exhaust, will sound pretty damn loud. And so do skunk2s actually. But if you've got the money I'd probably go with the skunk2.

Also, if you get the chance, look at what the N1 is packed with, if it's with any kind of fiberglass, or glasspack, stay away, far far away.

an ls will be deeper than a gsr in general.

imo it doesn't get much deeper than the greddy evo2, but my god is that muffler hideous.

I just put my Skunk2 on my GSR.. no major mods, just AEM cold air, skunk2 IM.. and IMO it sounds pretty decent. Low tone, doesnt sound high pitched and ricey like most hondas. It's a little loud, but if you can deal with that, its all around pretty nice.

ive had both n1 and skunk 2 exhoust, the n1 sounds like rice, skunk 2 sounds ten times better, especially with greddy headers.

I have a Skunk2 exhaust and the resonator hangs so low that it scrapes on speed bumps. I'd avoid it if I were you.

My recommendation is the Thermal R&D "Stealth" exhaust (or the regular one if you want more noise and higher flow). All polished stainless steel and hardware.
