Default Weird Bogging/Idling after i get on it

ok so tonight i decide to let her rip in my car i havent cracked vtec in a while and i missed the feeling

i take it to 8k 1st and 2nd then i slow down and stop at a stop light

then i notice my idle is 200 rpms lower than it should be and my car is doing a weird lobing idle

i press on the gas maybe bout 30-40% and it bogs
i drive with it and anything past 3k rpms the car runs like a champ but the car sputters and bogs at any rpm under that and i gotta give it almost 70% throttle for it not to bog under 3k rpms

what is weird is i decided to bump start my car and the problem went away! but it came back again after i got on it

weirdness

anyways the car wasnt throwing any codes or anything

timing isnt the problem because the timing wont fix itself when i turn the car on and off

i dont want to turn my car on and off everytime i decide to crack vtec

anyone have any idea? it just started doing this tonight

Edit

motor is a poor man r with stg2 cams if that matters and yes its tuned on crome pro
i had no probs til tonight

i had somewhat of the same problem a while back. where it would blog when iam stepping hard on the gas, but would rev normal if i step on it normally. it turned out to be the spark plugs. i got new ones and gapped it correctly and everything was cool since. hope that helps.

if it was really running THAT rich, it might be the plugs. have you checked them yet?

i also had somewhat a similiar problem. i posted up questions and no one here seemed to have many other alternative answers . so i kinda left it and tired to fix it on my own.

my problem which might help you:
my car would bogg when cruising between 1.5k to 3k rpms. i would just feather the gas a bit and then continue to press it down slowly. there would be no reaction to it. then it would just make a jump up to accelerate. it would do it very often. 9 out of 10 times i do that. flooring it, it would go. its just the feather of the gas it would do that.

one of the things i think is going on.
bad fuel pressure regulator.
clogged intake. not the filter area but the intake manifold.
bad EGR valve.
i have a cap and rotor so i might think its that.

i have yet to replace any of these cause of funds. so once i start to replace one by one ill narrow it down. either way i need to replace them anyways cause its all original from 1991. if you replace those one by one u can figure out what it might be and let me know so i can at least buy the right one up front even if i plan replacing them all.

i too also have replaced my spark plugs. its not that. the car was completely stock when this initially started. i have just kept driving it till now so its just annoying more then anything. i worry that the part might just go out one day and leave me stranded so ill start fixing stuff one day.

... but try replacing the fpr first!
