Ok so i got this 99 Gsr that was a theft, had no ecu, motor, cluster ect.. so i found wrecked 01 Gsr. I swaped everything over except the ecu because found out it wouldn't work with the 99 harness so i got a 99 Gsr ecu and the car runs fine! The problem is the the 01 Gsr cluster RPM's dont work, the turn signals arrows in the cluster always stay on, the temp gauge doesn't work, the cruise control light on the cluster always stays on!. Do i need to get a 99 Gsr cluster? can i make the 01 cluster work with the 99 harness? When i got the wrecked 01 gsr the motor ran fine and the cluster had no problem!m Please help!!! I already Search and found nothing!

 

Repin your 99 harness to 00-01 spec.

It should. There's quite a bit of difference in the 13-pin plug.

Since the ground is in another pin, yes.

 

i swapped an 00 gsr cluster in my 94 gsr teg and the cluster went crazy wudnt function right found out i need to put the green flim from the 94 onto the 00 cluster the green mesh im talking about is on the back of cluster

He doesn't have the luxury of swapping the film because it got stolen.
