Well i park in a parking park assigned just for University of Kentucky Athletes, which happens to be near the baseball field in home-run territory. I am a member of the University of Kentucky track and field team, and after practice i am just happy to know that the week is over and i got a car for the 1st time in a week and a half. This is what i come back to see. Someone went yard and parked the baseball right on the roof of my caR. Baseball season is like 5 months away. I tried to make some calls to see if the University would be responsible to fix my car because that dent is nasty. To my disappointment, it might be coming out of my pocket to get repaired. That damn billboard didn't save me
. Anyone else experience something like this? I don't want to think this is like a shopping cart hitting your car, but it starting to seem like that for me. Is there anything i can do to get this fixed?

sorry about the cell phone pics.
to the UK baseball team.
P.S. Go Wildcats football team vs. the #1 LSU Tigers. (SEC > ****)

^ You beat me to it
I think by UK he means University of Kentucky
UK should be required to have insurance for things like this. I had my old car hit by a golf ball in a golf course parking lot and the golf courses insurance paid for the repair.

Aww man! I'm sorry, but I laughed at this ..... talk about bad luck!
Of all the places you could have parked your car that day, the ball had to land there.
Sorry to hear bro. Hope she gets fixed

that's ridiculous...you shouldn't be responsible for repairs of damages caused by a baseball team, as that's something completely out of your control. Really push the University, campus security, and the baseball coach (maybe will be able to point you to someone to talk with) about this, and don't stop until someone gives you more than just a "sorry"

No need to lie, it might be covered anyway.

Take it to a body shop.

I doubt it. Paintless dent repair can't usually do anything with a dent that deep and that wide. But you can ask. (Usually, a body shop will know what PDR can, and can't, do.)
My car? I would get it fixed, let insurance pay if there is insurance coverage (this would fall under the comprehensive part of your policy), and then go to small claims court to recover any remaining cost of the repair from the university (either your deductible, if it's insured, or the entire cost, if not). On small amounts like this, big organizations are likely to just pay up rather than bothering to contest your case in small claims court (where they will probably lose anyway).
