Radio not powering up HELP!
Hey guys, I went to start up the car today to do some errands and my radio did not power up. Its a Panasonic, do not remember the brand off hand but I paid about 500 for it 3 years ago. Is there a fuse for the radio that could of went bad? Has anyone experienced something like this? It was working fine one day and then all of a sudden just die? There is still the standby light on the radio but it does not power up at all. Thanks.

I would check the back up fuse under the hood. its 7.5 amp. the reason since you said the light is still flashing on the radio. Also check the fuse under the dash which should be a 15 amp. And the 10 amp fuse on the back of the radio.
I'll check it out tommorow, man I sure hope its a fuse issue cause I'll be damn if my radio just all of a sudden went **** up. Hopefully the rain will finally stop, who would of thought rain in So Cal. I'll keep you guys updated, thanks for the prompt replys.

Hey it's nearing winter. It's gonna rain.

UPDATE:
Radio fixed! The problem was not the fuse, it was the actual battery on the car. I guess the battery was really low, my car would start but not enough juice was being pushed to the radio to allow full operation. It all came together when my car ultimately did not start due to the battery, new OEM battery at Honda for $75 fixed the problem! Now I can go bump the new Avril Lavigne's album again, wooot!
Thanks to all those who chimed in.
