ok i just fire my rex with the b16 going on but the car when im driving it and im in 4th gear , or whatever gear when im in 3000 rpm the car wont accelerate more is just looses power like basically i cant get the car over 3000 in every gear so can that be the tps sensor??? or please let me know what might be that problem?????
theres a blue connector clip comes out by your ecu its not connected to anything stick a paper clip in it and count your cel(check engine light ) flashes, long flash is 10 short flashes are one add them together 7 single flashes or code 7 is tps try adjusting your tps. towards the intake will give you a higher meter read out, towards your filter will give it a lower you want it at .000 to .099 throttle closed and 4.000 to 4.099 open what ever the case it must be at least a 3.550 span from open to closed but no more that a 4.000 span if you cant get it by adjusting tps you may need a new sensor iv got the same problem but iv go a perfect .000 to 4.000 span and still throwing cel code 7 and i have to "chase" the rpms with the throttle til i get past 3000rpms then i can smash on it. but ive got to get her tuned...
