Default tps sensor

ok i just fire my rex with the b16 going on but the car when im driving it and im in 4th gear , or whatever gear when im in 3000 rpm the car wont accelerate more is just looses power like basically i cant get the car over 3000 in every gear so can that be the tps sensor??? or please let me know what might be that problem?????

have you looked to see if you're getting a CEL/code showing up?

yeah it has the check engine light but i dont know how to read the codes can you let me know how to do it please?????

theres a blue connector clip comes out by your ecu its not connected to anything stick a paper clip in it and count your cel(check engine light ) flashes, long flash is 10 short flashes are one add them together 7 single flashes or code 7 is tps try adjusting your tps. towards the intake will give you a higher meter read out, towards your filter will give it a lower you want it at .000 to .099 throttle closed and 4.000 to 4.099 open what ever the case it must be at least a 3.550 span from open to closed but no more that a 4.000 span if you cant get it by adjusting tps you may need a new sensor iv got the same problem but iv go a perfect .000 to 4.000 span and still throwing cel code 7 and i have to "chase" the rpms with the throttle til i get past 3000rpms then i can smash on it. but ive got to get her tuned...

oh yeah you can find cel codes in your haynes manual or online
