Default starting problem with Walbro 255 fuel pump

ok so i have stock gsr it used to be boosted, this is why its on my car, the fuel pump now. Everything is stock but the fuel pump. I also drilled a little orifice hole in the stock FPR. My car has alwase had a problem starting. I would have to turn the key on the first time and let it completely prime, then when i'd try to start it , it wont start. so now i woudl have to prime it twice then it'll start. is it because i drilled a hole in the FPR a while back? i had to do that because i ddint have a adj. fpr and it'd help with lowering fuel pressure? whats the problem?

Stock fuel pump FTW!
Drilling your FPR was not a good idea. A valve in the line would have been more useful.

Have someone cover the hole or put something over it and try starting with only priming it once, that will let you know if its your hole or not.

Then either deal with the Walbro annoyances, or switch back to stock for now. I gurantee that you are running WAAAYYYY rich, if you have not tuned for the added fuel pressure.
It's best to get all the turbo parts together and install them at once. Adding one thing at a time (and trying to drive around) will cause you alot of stress and headaches.
