i am getting a siR carbon fiber hood for my crx and it says i am going to have to use hood pins. i am not a fan at all of hood pins. so is there any way i can make it latch with the orginal hood latch cable?

 

the hood should come with a hood latch and close just like the factory hood but CF hoods have a bad reputaton for poping open while driving which is why they recomend hood pins. if you can find a way to add the extra security to the under structure of the hood then hood pins may not be neccasery but you never know what will happen so its better safe then sorry.

 

ok thanks i guess i'll just go with locking hood pins.
