So basically get all of the motor mounts from an LS or GSR it would be straight plug into the del sol? wat about radiator can i use a LS or a GSR ones?
Chyno, all the moutns from an LS or GSR will NOT work in a del Sol.
I did a B16A2 swap from a EK Civic Si into my 1994 del Sol Si. Here is what I found.
The timing belt mount, I reused mine. The DOHC one is beefier, but the SOHC will bolt up.
The AC bracket that holds the AC compressor is different on the del Sol VTEC compared to the Integra. The Integra/EK has a different AC compressor. The del Sol VTEC uses a d series one so the bracket is different. You will have to get one from a del Sol VTEC. I've heard that a CRV one works also. I used the EK bracket and compressor and had some new lines made.
The frame rail mounts are different on the del Sol VTEC. The del Sol frame rails have some tabs welded underneath, so the integra ones which are flat will not bolt up. You can remove the tabs with an chissel and hammer or something but I reused my mounts and added some washers. It was a pain.
For radiator, the integra one is full length. I used an 2000 Civic Si radiator so that the hose diameters are the same. Just get 2000 civic si radiator and hoses. This radiator will be single core. 1994 and 1995 del Sol VTEC radiator is dual core. Then in 1996 they changed to single core. Single core is fine, I've used it for a full day of track racing and the engine never got hot, so use Civic 2000 Si.

I am suprised that no one has told him to get some del Sol VTEC shift linkage...you can no use other linkages in the del Sol because its a different legth...
That is the reason that you don't see many K series del Sol's because of the linkage...I know because I was going to do one but its alot more than I care to fab

Refer to second post. And I agree on ease of welding, I did the same but vice versa for my swap from Del sol to Civic.

I heard this from someone where if you havea based model Del Sol you have to rewire up 4 wire to the O2 censor or something so your gas wont run rich. does anyone know about that or have a diagram on how to do it? Also does anyone have a diagram on how to wire up the vtec and the knock sensor? thanks you so much for the helps guys!
