00 Accord Coupe H22 swap
Hi there! I just blew a hole through the side of my F23 series motor and was loking to do a Prelude H22 (97-01) swap. I live in Atlanta, and was curious if their are an places to find a good decent motor and tranny swap with all hardware necessary. Also what will I need to do engine mount wise? Once I get the H22 motor I was hoping if you guys would be able to tell me if I had good ideas or bad for building it up. I want to put the Type S pistons with stronger rods in it, a Skunk2 intake manifold, Skunk2 throttle body, camshafts, cam gears, clutch, flywheels from fidanza and clutchmaster, AEM fuel rail, and do all ignition stuff. I am having problems finding head hardware to beef up the head to handle the power. Any Suggestions? Also suggestions on headers btwn DC and Greddy. Accord all ready has Megan cat-back exhaust which will remain cause I like the sound. My goal is to have somewhere between 300 -350 hp NA style. Is that possible? Do i need to upgrade injectors and fuel pump too? PLEASE HELP, but only people who know what they are talking about. I don't need some 16 year old kid who got daddy to pay for everything trying to tell me whats good and whats not. I need professional opinons! Where can I find a good decent H22 for a decent price? Jarco Inc.?
Car has been lowered 2 inches, sits on 18s and has big brake upgrade all ready and rear slotted rotors as well with high perfomance pads. Will be adding sway bars and changing shocks out as well.
