EK Civic Type R Wing
What would look the best on the civic type r wing, paint the whole wing the color of the car or do the wing base black and wing paint the same as the car?

I'm actually having difficulty finding a photo of a car with a fully painted CTR wing.

EDIT: Here is a car with a fully painted spoiler.

unless your car is black i would paint it some kind of a flat satin black, that flows so well with the body lines and looks perfect lined up on the hatch window

Haha, yeah. Any color besides black would look kind of cheap if the spoiler was fully colormatched.

that thing is real nice. To the OP, i think you should paint the base black and wing color matched.

it depends on the rest of your trim. my 97 hatchs molding, door handles, lip, ect are all the color of the car. so color matching would look best. and on my 95 coupe i have a black hood, headlights, trunk, lip, molding ect. so id go black with the rest of the car red. think about which will match your car better. and not worry about what everyone else is doing.

Well, the stock Civic Type R comes with fully painted trim, but the base of the wing is left matte black. Regardless of if your door handles on your '96-'00 hatch are painted or not, I think the base of the wing should be left matte black.
