My All Motor Build. Do I have everything I need?
ok so after my stock block B16 piston wrings got shot I decided to build a poor mans Type R. Heres a list of what Ive gotten so far:
JDM B18C GSR Block
JDM P30 .25 Over Sized Pistons and Rings
Stock GSR Rods
Stock GSR Crank
Stock GSR Crank Pulley
ARP Rod Bolts
ARP Head Studs
B Series VTEC Oil Pump and Water Pump
Mugen 2 Layer Head Gasket
B18C Oil Pan Gasket
B18C Oil Pan
Exedy 8 LB Flywheel
Clutchmasters Stage 4 Clutch + Pressure Plate
ACL GSR Bearings
Now when I take it to get assembled Im going to get the rotating assembly balanced, have the block honed to spec, and have everything torqued properly.
Now I have a few questions:
1. When I install my B16 head with the ARP Rod Bolts what are the torque specs?
2. Whats the torque specs for the ARP Rod Bolts?
3. Is this absolutely everything needed to build my short block?
4. What is the proper piston to wall clearence for my build. ( B18C + Oversized P30 Pistons)
5. Whats the proper piston ring gap?
6. Whats the proper bearing clearence for this build? (ACL GSR Bearings)
Sorry for all the questions but Ive spent alot of time and money gathering all these parts and I just want to make sure that everything is done properly.
Thanks
