Im at a local car show yesterday and this ******* piece of fuckiong **** (sorry mods) is walking around with a set of 98-00 Honda/Acura master keys. Asking if anyone wants to buy them. Some kid in a type R was like man that wont even work in my car because i have the immobilizer in my ecu (something like that i dont have an R i have an si) anyways, the scumbag then prosceeds to bet the kid 10 bucks he can start his car. The Kid in the R accepts. The ******* ********** then goes up to the R, Unlocks the door, and starts the Type R. The kids jaw dropped. And this kid who had the keys lives in a town notorious for stealin cars and sellin ****. Kinda like a ghetto town on long island. Sucks.

Once i saw this i closed my hood and put my autolock on my clutch pedel. That ******* POS aint getting my ****. He can start it but he aint moving lol

He then proceeded top come up to my car and say the same thing to me. I said "ill give you 3 seconds to get away from my car before i punch you in your adams apple" he then left the car show.

Its such bullshit it really is. Fucked up that you can get things like master keys simply because of who you know and who you blow.

i was just thinken isnt that **** illegal to sell them?? i would of called the damn cops on his *** or somethin. Now this kid is gonna go around makin more and more of these keys. Then people wouldnt have to "break" in n e more, they would just need 2 turn the key...

Civic95, tell that dealer to go "**** themselves".. There is a 2001 PY ITR with 20k miles at a local Mini Cooper dealer here in N.J. going for $28.9K!!! They are on crack. If your car is mint with low mileage you should get around $20-$23K..

i didnt know this was possible! i mean, i can understand MAYBE he had a set of keys that could open your door but start your car?! wtf? whats the sense in honda developing the immobilizer system if it can be defeated so easily? im gonna forward this thread to honda in an effort to help prevent future auto thefts. especially thefts of the type-r variety!
