Default Front and rear stands ??

How many of you, when your bikes are parked @ home, keep your bikes on front and rear stands ??

I just started doing this, and a couple of friends laughed when they saw it yesterday ?

only on stands if i'm doing maintenance or parking it for longer than a month.
When i was at school i would park the bike all winter and keep it up on stands.

my bikes kinda old, so its got the centerstands built in, which i love. but when i get home i usually just put the kickstand down. if i do maintinence, just lube the chain or somthing ill have it on the stands and just leave it there till i ride it again.

Way too much of a hassle to put it on a stand each time for daily drivers. Especially the front and rear stand.

IMHO, seems like a waste of time unless you really like to floss your bike and have it in a high eye traffic area.

I keep my race bike on stands though.

I was looking to purchase stands for my next bike. How long does it take to put the bike on there? Seems like its relatively simple.

30 seconds to a minute if that. It's pretty simple really, just stick something under the kickstand to get the bike mostly upright, then just put the bike on the rear stand, then on the front stand and you're done.

You live in San Jose. You can still ride in the winter.

I just pull the bike straight up from the tail and put the rear on, then the front

Yeah, I'm not exactly strong, I'd probably drop the bike if I did that lol

I keep my bike on the a rear stand most of the time. I'm hardly ever home and only get to ride my bike maybe every 2 or 3 weeks. I plan on getting a front stand in the near future.
