usually people on a budget opt for cheap ebay coilovers which is absolutely

suspension is deffinetely a thing worth saving for, you can pick up a set of k-sports on here from DRFlickner for $575 shipped...also just take it to a good alignment shop, and tell them to set it up so it doesnt wear tires, this can be achieved by setting the car up with a little more positive toe than factory spec until you can buy a camber kit.

put your life in danger-check
put others lives in danger- check
beat up the rest of your suspension- check

do it once, do it right.

look into upgrading struts while you are at it.....the stock ones won't last you too long...my AGX's are nice on my hatch, and adjustable too. GR-2's and Tokico blues are a cheaper alternative too, however they lack adjustability.

you can do a 1-2" drop with some lowering springs fine, like h&r race, there was a sponser on here that had them for 160 shipped brand new, DEFINITLEY the cheap non ghetto lowering route to go
