Default help!

My car violently jerks and shakes when I try to speed up from dead stop, my check engine light is on. Sometimes it runs fine, but then sometimes it's start to act up again. Any suggestions?? What could be wrong with the car?

The car was recently stolen, it had an APexi AFC on there, which got jacked, originally, when the car was recovered the check engine light was on because they ripped the Apexi AFC wire from the ecu. I've taken it back to a shop twice now, I take it back there because it's covered under insurance, what shall I do? Take it to the dealer, and check what code it's throwing? This is really getting annoying.
