Default I got a problem with someone..

Okay...I'm selling this _____ and a guy is interested. I tell him that it's not the GREATEST condition and I give him some pics of it. Now the pics DO NOT clearify the condition but I tell him that if he wants it, he can buy it. He gives me money and I send it out to him. The day he gets it, he E-mails me saying that its a POS and he wants his money back..What would you do? I personally will not give him his money back..because whats bought is bought. That is HIS fault for buying something and I even told him from the beginning that the product IS NOT the greatest...Can he do anything?

Hrmmm. This kinda falls under a gray area. If what you told him about the condition is true. He just should have exercised the term "Buyer beware"
but then again if your part of a message board you kinda automatically trust the person just because of the fact that that person is part of the community.
Me personally, i'd feel kinda bad but you get what you pay for, I already told you what conditon it would be in, you went ahead and bought it anyhow. Since you are not a business but a private party, I doubt he has any or little legal recourse, it all goes back to "Buyer Beware"
It's kinda up to you. You could be the model H-T member, or you could say: "tough rocks pal, now get lost."

regardless who you are(buyer or seller) this will happen sooner or later. what some people don't get is that this community(h-t) is like any other. it's not some retail establishment where if the product was defective you can turn around and have it replaced as long as the warranty covers it. like all communities all we have is our word. better yet, our 'OWN' judgement. sometimes we purhcase a part new or used and the anticipation is overwhelming and it consumes us.

'what you see is what you get'
*no one deserves to get or be ripped off...use your best judgement 'buyer beware'

Honestly, was it a reasonable price based on the condition of the part? I'm thinking, return 10% of his money in good faith or something or maybe the cost of repairing the part to make it useable again?

Yup, do this if you really care to have our opinion on your situation.

The product is is a CF wing for an EK/J...Whatever you wanna call it. Everyone knows that the quality isnt as great. Put it this way...It's not Benen, Fiber Images, or JHP....But he bought it as is..I'm not reliable for what has happened to it since I shipped it. I sold it as a "USED" prduct meaning pre-owned. He should have known that and I dont feel like I should go out of my way so he can get his money back.not even 10%. I dont want to sound like a person ripping him off but hey...I told him from the beginning about everythinng.

sounds to me like you already made up your mind even before you ask us this question....

if you really need help figuring this out why don't you show us the picture that you showed him and the price you charged him...
