damn... 900k miles on original motor
This might not be the right place for this, but I didn't think it would hurt.
I damaged my hatch lately, so i've been cruising craigslist and all sorts of import sites, and came across this.

NOFX brought that to my attention a couple of weeks ago. It's interesting, and definitely a testament to the longevity of Honda motors, but I think his asking price is a little optimistic. Having a super high mileage car is one thing, but trying to use the high mileage as a sort of selling point just isn't going to work. Unless some Honda dealer wants to ****** it up to use a showroom display.
sad thing is, i've paid more for cars that had 800,000 miles less and the body was in much need of TLC....i'd buy that thing, drive it til it blew up (atleast 1 million miles) and then swap it. I'd even swap the gauge cluster so i'd still have the 1 million mile cluster. just a neat thing to have i'd think.

a dealership should def pick that thing up...i emailed a friend at the local honda and told him about it, they said there gonna check it out...they would have to ship it to CA
http://www.kbb.com/KBB/UsedCar...tions= Hes not really asking that much. The private party value is about the same on KBB on that car, tho its hard to believe.

Theres a honda dealer here that has a 96+ lx 4dr with over 300k.I asked him about that and that's exactly what he said, they show it to people as an example of how long hondas last, but he doesn't expect to sell it.

Pretty sure that all 900k miles weren't put on in the last 2 years or so. $1.75 is a rough average of what fuel cost back in the 90's and what it is today.
