Default Angle Grinding off Cat Conv. Bolts

Okay so I finally got some free time to tackle my car again. The goal is to get the rusted cat bolts off. I have soaked them in rust remover, banged pulled, turn, twisted, and tug the best I could and those SOBs are still on there.

I was turned onto the idea of the angle grinder. And it was a great idea, It worked for the first 4 and half bolts like a cake walk. Now the delima is the top bolts on on both sides of the cat. The angle grinder does not fit in there safely, and even unsafe it still doesnt reach to good. Ive tried unhooking the little black ruber things that hold the pipes up, and pulling the pipe down to grind, But that seems almost impossible. The only thing that Ive thought of so far is mabey unhooking the downpipe from the header and pulling it down, but that might work for the bolt at the front of the car and not for the bolt in the rear with out ripping the pipe off.
Any suggestions, noob at work its hilarious. Im ridding it around half off and it sounds like a harley, lmao!!!!

If I cant get it off tonight, then its going to meinkie in the morning, and IM going to have the muffler installed as well.

You can get all of the hangers off, then the flexpipe will allow the exhaust to lay down enough to get at those bolts.

You didn't have them all off then.

The muffler will be on the ground if you get them all off.

This thread should prob be locked but. So I got the Cat off. Heres the thing, the high flow cat that I got off ebay is really a resonator. WTF. Will that effect emmissions or what?
