Default Obd0 dizzy on obd1 head

Will a 91 si dizzy fit onto a d15b7 head. I have a b7 laying around an my motor took a dump I want to swap it. I have b2 in there right now, so I know I have to do the mpfi swap an use a pm6 ecu but can I use the mpfi dizzy on the head?

Did it come off a d series engine? If yes then it will fit.

I'm not the dizzy master, but the 89-91 SI dizzy is what you use when you convert a D15 to MPFI. So I guess, yeah, it should fit. Whenever I don't know if something will fit or not, I just put it on! It if explodes, you did it wrong.

It fits perfectly, all 3 bolts line up. Just finished swapping a d15b7 into my GF's '89 Si keeping all the d16a6 accessories. Now she knows when I ask her to top up her oil, that I'm not asking her to dump 4.4L into it when there's already 3+ L in there.

So other than physically swapping out the motor its just like doing a mpfi swap?

Not really. A MPFI swap is when you swap out the DPFI intake manifold with a MPFI manifold. If you got only two injectors, you have DPFI. Four injectors: MPFI

I think he's just talking about the electrical part of the swap. And the short of it, is yes. You have to wire everything just like you would changing to MPFI.
