Hello All, i thought i would post on a forum that deals with a so called Frank May from pocket rockets racing.com I have sent him over 10,000 us dollars 5 monhts ago and have only received about 2000 dollars worth of parts sent to me. I am still waiting on about 8k worth of stuff. Does anyone have an address for him as i see he doesnt list his address on his website. From what i have gathered is that he makes out to work from new york but is actually out of canada if anyone can find me his address it would be much appreciated as i plan on going to canada and sorting this out once and for all. I shall go to the police station etc and get my money back at the very least. all help is appreciated in helping us get our products or funds either or , also beware any future people wishing to buy products at first he was so helpful etc and now for 8 weeks i havent heard a word no answer to answer phone messages and no reply to emails he has done a runner by the looks of it. so beware all.

 

there was a thread about it some time ago here. They were late for 1 year with $16,000 project but finally fullfiled their duties.

 

Custom parts? At the very least he should be staying in contact with you

alright people hows it all going? Aye i signed up yesterday as i seen that pocketrockets has been active on thsi forum and i been trying to get in contact with him and try and fond an address. I am in scotland and he owes me cams for a k20a2 and a stroker for a H22a and also some 350z parts i havent heard from him in a long time so i am going to go through alot of honda and 350z forums and start informing people of these dodgy traders. If anyone has his address where i can find him i shall come over the waters and contact the autorities and try and sort this out to get my money back. me signing up is really to tell my story and warn people abotu pocket rockets racing and try and put pressure on frank may to get my money back. i am a genuine person which runs and owns Japerformance.co.uk. i hope i can get the info i am after so i can try and recoupe my costs i will appreciate any info anyone has.

brockville ontario just north of the new york region my friend the rest is up to you to find out...just to make sure you know this he is not a crook yes he takes eons to reply and deliver the products but they will arrive patience is the key with frank...im happy with my mid sleeves and cp's took like 5 months(for pistons only)...lol but happy none the less

lubo i undertsnad what your sayign but a simple 2 minute phone call isnt too much to ask from frank when you have spent over 10k. i run my own tuning shop and i have ordered the parts for my customers to do project cars for them. i know have a prelude that has been sat for 5 months waiting for an engine rebuild and turbo conversion and the customer is really pushing me to complete the car. it is a difficult situation to keep saying be patient it wouldnt be such a big deal if he would contact us and let us know what is happening it is the ignorance of not answering voice mail messages or emails.

i am absolutly raging and just wish he woudl send the parts.

two words. customer service. apparently some ppl have never heard of this term.

 

It sucks that the customer service is good. But There is a ton of people that vouch for pocket rockets doing great work for them. I would wait for at least three months before worrying big time.

 

simon i know how you feel after 4 months passed i was too wondering what happened to my parts but i kept things persistant with frank because i know how busy it can be if you ever have any second doubts i have his semi address and postal code on an invoice...

it isnt right though to be ignoring messages that on his part wouldnt be right but if nothing is resolved lawyers would be your last option the court can always get your cash back with minimum losses praying to god...i wish you the best of luck comrade those kinds of business transactions are what destroy reputations and trust

 

i still havent got any parts from frank at pocket rockets, is there anyone on here tha is close to him that could go speak to him for me please. i have spoken to him once on the phone and he said he had 99% of my parts and that he would send what he had about 3 weeks ago and i still havent got anything he is defo trying to scam us. any assistance would be appreciated.

That's pretty bad news. I'll keep this open. Hopefully they'll take care of you.

In the meantime, I would contact your credit card company if you charged these parts.

 

cheers, it was paid by echaeque using paypal , i did file a dispute but paypal havent done anythign about it another scamming company tell you that your protected when in reality your not.

not sure where to turn now , is there any government department i can report him to in canada.

see if you can file a law suit since u wanna come over seas anyways, if he continues to ignore you
