Default Need header for 99ex. Which of these 2, or suggestions?

I have a 99 Ex w/AEM CAI and Dc cat-back. Im considering the Greddy for $350-$355 (from lake effect performance). or the landspeed powercore Stainless for $355 from landspeed. The landspeed did pretty good in a header test on an Ex and seems built pretty good, with 1/2 inch ss flanges. Or do u guys recomend any other kinds? I would like to know from personal experience of how it performed.

I did do a search before anyone starts.

Thanks for any help

I just get mixed reviews on it, some say it worked pretty good, some say not worth it at all. Plus from what I have seen and heard, the quality could be better, like problems with the head flange warping and rusting, even on the stainless ones. I dont know, if people say they liked it, i may consider it, if i can find one for around $350, like the other 2 i posted about.

the best, no doubt, is the jg/edelbrock piece for the y8...it's a refined version of the lightspeed header i still use from the mid 90's...absolutely awesome...next on my list would have to be the apexi gt manifold for the y8...between the 2 you listed, id go w/ the landspeed piece.

thanks bro, the jg and apex are more than I plan on spendin, but i dont doubt their effectiveness (~$350).

Have u had any experience with the landspeed header or know someone with it?

thanks

I still have my DC Sports 4-2-1 Ceramic headers if your interested ($180), The welds and junctions are damn smooth if you ask me. I was in the same posistion as you and was looking at the greddy headers, but test after test said DC sports, and that's what their company was built upon.

I guess I should consider the dc 421.

But has anyone had experience with the Powercore?

Powercore.

Save the money you're gonna spend on bolt-ons and save up for a swap or Forced Induction.

Of course someone has to throw that in.

Maybe I dont have $3000+ to do a swap or Fi right now. Even though i wish to go all out w/swap or Fi, but got other priorities and I just want little things for my car for now to help.

Thanks for the help people.
