is it possible to press out the spindle with out ruining the wheel bearing, im tryin to install arp extended studs but dont have the money for new wheel bearings
I have just done this myself a few months back.
You dont even need to press the bearing out. I used a axle puller/slide hammer i bought for something else.
All you do is remove the brake parts and undo the 32mm nut on the end of the driveshaft. Attach the axle puller attachment to the hub, screw on the slide hammer and slowly pull back. This pulls the bearing apart, leaving the outer casing and race in the upright and leaving you with the inner casing on the end of the hub.
Simply use a bench vise to press out the studs and press the new ones in.
