Default arp extended lugs

is it possible to press out the spindle with out ruining the wheel bearing, im tryin to install arp extended studs but dont have the money for new wheel bearings

with using a press b/c the hub assembly is off the car so its my only way?

I have just done this myself a few months back.

You dont even need to press the bearing out. I used a axle puller/slide hammer i bought for something else.

All you do is remove the brake parts and undo the 32mm nut on the end of the driveshaft. Attach the axle puller attachment to the hub, screw on the slide hammer and slowly pull back. This pulls the bearing apart, leaving the outer casing and race in the upright and leaving you with the inner casing on the end of the hub.

Simply use a bench vise to press out the studs and press the new ones in.

nope arp studs stay once they are put correctly in place

arite... i had them on my lude and never welded them... what about the skunk2 extended studs... those need welding?

my arp studs lost most of the color... wish i they would stay gold!

from what i hear skunk2 and obx studs were crap, but i may be wrong. also yea the color did fade for me to b/c it was just a coating

i wish i could clear coat them and make the gold stay.. it would look sick with some gold rims..

when i put them on my lude i had to remove/replace the wheel bearing, and so did my friend with an EK... so id double check on the install..
