Default d16z6 blown head gasket

i have a 95 ex coup and i has a blown head gasket. i was wondering if the y8 gasket would make any difference. every one says it rasis compression bit isnt it like .3 or so. also how much should i shame the head or should i at all and if i do so i need to worry about valve clearence? what els should i do whyle im in there thats not to expensive i heard about using pm7 or pm6s. i use it as a dd and dont have much money to put in it but i want some more performance out of it. any tips would be grateful.

I use the Y8 gasket on my Z6 just because it's cheaper. It's almost identical and works perfect.

Your low on cash but you want to shave the head, do a search on google for clay fit head valve clearance, and see how low you can go.
