i have just the stock dx bar up front and i am looking for an upgrade in handling, just wondering what are others efs running for the front without breaking the bank? what is my best bet with oem front sways? i know everyone says stay away from going to large of diameter like the ST bar and ive heard some things about the crx hf front i believe is larger but not sure of the correct info. any info is helpful. BtW: my goal is great handling, so that is what my hatch is being built for.(Autocross and track time hopefully soon) cheers

the HF bar is smaller 17.2mm, and hollow. much less spring rate than the 18mm DX/Si bar. its BETTER for some because you dont want a strong front bar for better handling.
yes, the 22mm front ST bar is too big. why do they sell it? because idiots buy anything. if what you said is your goal, this is not the bar for you.
the 4dr EF front bar is 19mm. the difference is noticable to me, with stock springs all around.
the DA front bar fits too, and is 23mm but Hollow. honestly, i didnt feel a difference between the DA and the 19mm solid bar.
those are your options for the front swaybar.
spend your money first on a rear bar.

I say the stock front sway is perfect. If its too big it will increase understeer. Just simply upgrade the bushings to a stiffer set
that will increase response and stability

Like someone mention either switch to the HF one or leave your stock one. Bigger bar upfront will give you even more understeer!!! You want a bigger bar in the rear, and eventually you want to learn to drive your car without a bar up front.
Just be very careful...the ST bar in the rear with no bar upfront makes the car get loose really easily.
