fuse problem...pllleeeease help
Hey, i have a 1990 honda accord ex-r. A few bare wires from my deck touched and now my clock and radio wont turn on, so i figure it's a blown fuse, but i dont kno which one it is...i tried the "radio" fuse but nothin worked, and i have no idea what the "Day Light" fuse slot is for, but everytime i put a fuse in that slot, the fuse blows. Any suggestions on what i should do??
OHM test from each radio / clock pin to ground, each one should have a ground but probably not more than one????

Will this help any with the radio. Any other grounds is a short and the cause of a fuse blowing. That may be a daytime running light socket not is use in the USA?????

Pull the fuses in your fuseboxes, see which ones are blown, and use the map to find out what they are. Daylights are probably some parking lights, and if the fuse keeps blowing they probably have a bad ground.
ok...so if they have a bad ground what do i do then??
p.s. I was driving the car last night and the clock was workin, tho it was too dimmed out to see anything but the hour number, and my cd player also ejected my cd wen i pressed it, but i tried it today and it's not working. So i have noo clue whats goin on.

I'd replace the dimmer control with a junkyard one and see if that fixes things. As far as your radio, that's going to be a different problem, check the wiring for loose connections etc.
Check the fuses under the hood in the power distribution box. It won't say clock or radio; but I guarantee one of them is blown. I had the same problem when I installed a stereo. It drove me crazy; I checked all the fuses insode & the wiring several times. Turns out it was a fuse under the hood. I just don't remember what it was labeled. Something you wouldn't expect. Good Luck
