Thinking about getting a couple sets in about a month and wondering who had experience with them, pro's and con's. And what you'd compare them to.

I know the x-overs are quite power hungry, but aside from that they look like a good set of speaks. Ill probably feed them 350-400 watts per side.

If you are talking about the SPZ60 they are a very good speaker, a 2x150-200 watt into 4 ohm amp is big enough, keep in mind the SPX is a 150W continuous, [RMS] 3 ohm speaker. 94

I'm actually talking about the Z's which were replaced, by the SPZ's.

They are 3 ohm as well.

OIC, that is correct they are also 3 ohm.
There is not a lot of diff. between the two, although if I remember the Z6 was a 200W continuous, [RMS] speaker.
Still a very good speaker.
As with any speaker, more so with "high power" speakers, installation is critical to speaker performance and SQ. 94

I had two sets in my del sol. Very good speakers, but huge crossovers and tweeters than can be a little harsh iirc.

Could swear they were 4 ohm speakers though
