i have a JDM B16, i need a spark plug, wires, dis cap, and rotor.. what car do i tell them?? 99 civic si, or del sol with DOHC VTEC... need help..

 

I'm going to assume you are talking about a gen 2 B16A, I have one as well. Either or is the answer. I have also used a dizzy cap for a B18B (it's all they had at the time) with no issues. I would tell them you own a Del Sol B16A, even though it probably doesn't matter.

 

ok... no problems with the cap??? would the spark plug be different tho, from a B18 And B16, GSR, SI,

they are the same...i have the same jdm b16a swap..i bought the spark plugs from a 94 del sol vtec....

As long as you have a 2nd gen you can buy everything (well anything that's not JDM specific) for your motor by saying you have a 94-95 Del Sol DOHC VTEC with the B16A3. You can usually get away with saying you have a 2000 Si B16A2 also, but not always, because of some OBD2 to OBD1 differences, etc. So just be safe and stick with the Del Sol parts. That's what I do.

for the cap and rotor..i got from 94 del sol vtec too..i just replaced mine 2 months ago

well..i have the same engine as u do and i have been driving the car with the swap for 2000 miles now..and no pro..
