So basically its my mom's car and its got about 216,xxx miles
runs like a champ until about two weeks ago. My mom drove home and told me the check engine light came on so i took it out for a spin. The car started acting very weird i put the car into D4 and the light on the gauge cluster for D4 starter blinking really fast and so did the P at the same time, then the speedometer was jumping all over the place, hitting 120mph back to 20 then 60 ect... and i wasnt even moving yet. so i got down the hill to pull out onto the main road, when i get ready to accelerate the car starts jerking and switching gears all crazy like 3,1,4,2,3,1, ect... so i had to bust a u and drive it home
anyone ever experience the same thing??? i know its throwing codes for the o2 sensors and it was throwing a code for the ecu.
i replaced the ecu and need to replace the o2 sensors and a map sensor maybe i cant remeber all the codes...
can o2 sensors make your car act stupid like that or even a map sensor???
please let me know your thoughts
maybe i just need to get another car, or maybe its an easy fix
