Default how to SMOKED tail lights

I've read a forum about it and the guy said to mask the lense and spray paint on it... anyone with answers? Also post pics of your work

yeah you use transparent black window tint paint, you can get it at hobby stores and stuff. its like with all the model car paints and stuff like that. or you can just put window tint on them i think its easier

if i were to smoke my tail lights i would crack the tailight open and spray paint transparent black on the reflective chrome parts.

Kind of like how the jdm password oem smoked side marker are.

i used VHT Nite-Shades, put two coats on, they are pretty much blacked out but are still transparent. a can is only a few bucks n is enough for two taillights. make sure u lightly sand the tails before so the paint sticks better

best thread title ever!. haha just kidding. I painted my tails red, and stained glass paint works really really well. I used it on the outside of the lense too.
