Default what cam for a daily driver

I have a z6 head on my daily driven crx so what cam would benefit me the most and what other valve train components should buy with it. I do weekend mountian runs and some drag racing( on the track of course, because streetracing is for losers)

Bisimoto? I am not to sure on cams, but if you want more power why not find it in other areas...FI. Your goals are not really stated, do you commute with this car as well as the other actvities posted? But all in all, I have only heard great things in regards to Bisimoto and D-series. If you do go that route, get a low stage cam so your car will almost ride normal and still get that extra little kick. GL

I do use this car to commute every day. so I do want something that will give me a decent amount of power and still be able to run on 87 octane. I do want to be able to run at the track and do some mountain runs and autocross also.

Bingo........you can't mix performance and low octane gas.

Actually you can mix mild upgrade cams and low octane fuel, but you wouldn't make that much more power and it's always smart to run at least 89, since it's what honda recommended to use from factory (my H22 prelude was 91).

You can't mix higher compression and low octane fuel.

Really the mild upgrade cams in my eyes do better with some more timing and I'd want 91 at very least even though i'm sure you can get away with some 89.

But, if the op wants to expand on it i'm more then happy, if not we can leave it simple for him
