well ive had pretty good luck with things on ebay... all my friends ebay bolt on exhaust have worked and fit pretty well. I just hate the ricy mufflers. So thats y i was considering buying an ebay throttle body. I mean how much engineering does it take to replicate a OEM one and just bore it out?

And the reason for my setup... ls block type are gsr bottom end with forged internals and type r head. the motor is a **** and ive been gathering parts for over a year now :/

so authentically is not a type r lol but id rather not talk for an hour about every part that is and is not type r or other lol

ebay is not a brand, it's a website.

Things to keep in mind with cheaper "Ebay Brand" TB's...Do they come with a gasket, and TPS?

well that sounds like a plan but does he only bore out the front... like isnt an itr TB 62mm or so all the way through or does it get smaller towards the flap?

all the way i believe, and he'll port match your manifold if you want.

just search for maxbore, he has an ongoing thread and nothing but rave reviews.

sounds safer then an ebay TB

ill search him up... but i dont need to port match in to the intake manifold I have an AEBS IM.

Ive heard that sometimes its pretty good just to bore out the front of the TB thus creating velocity rather than volume which is useless if air doesnt flow properly. sort of like a " velocity stack "

ive never seen an aftermarket TB with a Honda TPS on it. Some might, but thats just my experience. And whats wrong with spending 2 bucks at the parts store to get a gasket... or just make your own.

to the OP. nomatter what TB you use its not gonna do much if you dont get your ITM port matched. And to answer your original question, ide buy one off ebay. how many throttle bodies have you had go bad?
