does ground wires make any difference? JW
i have some... some people say it does, some say it doesnt but i think that you can only see horsepower gain when u dyno. Its good for dynoing when ur trying to get the most power out of it. its a cheap mod so i just did it.
i own the apex power ground kit ... what i did notice is that when i start my car it sounds healthy and starts quicker then when i didnt have one .. and you guys also may think im crazy but it made my aftermarket stereo sound more crisp ... not even kidding ... stabilized electricity throughout the car ... deffinantly worth the money
performance wise i havent noticed any change .. like stated above .. maybe a bit on a dyno

When you get power and the suspension set up the way you want, and have extra money, then maybe look into that sort of thing.
well actually, I have to agree. I replaced my stock engine block wire with a 4 gauge and copper terminals from home depot, and one of my speakers was sounding bad before this. I was gonna replace the speakers but reading this now; I just noticed my speakers have nothing wrong with them. As for power gains, I'd like to think so, many mags say it does help.
my experience is that these grounding kits only make an improvement when there is something wrong with your stock grounding setup.
I cleaned up all of my factory ground contact points with some light grit sandpaper and netted myself a smoother idle, slightly higher alternator voltage (as seen by k-pro), and stronger/faster starts.
And this is with the stock wires too, no fancy cables.

I'll sell and ship all those wires for $20. And no, I didn't install the red loom or paint the fuse box cover red or zip tie the brake fluid reserver. Previous owner mistakes that have been corrected.
