Quick question about intake mani's

I'm looking to do a intake mani swap (y7 to y8). Would I be able to use intake mani from 96-98 EX (auto) into a 99-00 DX (auto)? Is there any difference?

I *think* the only difference is the throttle cable and where it attatches to the throttle body

So there is no difference between the 96-98 series and the 99-00 series intake mani? And I would use the y8 throttle body/cable instead of the y7?

I second that. This information is coming from someone who has done the swap recently on my car. The 96-00 auto manifolds are plug and play for 96-00 d16y7's wishing to run the 3 wire IACV.

When you use the manual manifold, then you're talking about plugging up air injector, and possible converting to 2 wire. Auto is no prob

Thanks for the info.

Last question I think... So since I can use the intake mani, throttle body/cable, etc... basically everything from the 96-98 EX, what gasket do I use for IM and TB? The y8 gaskets or the y7 gaskets (assuming they will be listed as 96-00 civic IM/TB gasket)?
