I've heard of using a pressure switch to cut ignition when you lose oil pressure. Has anyone used/made/bought something like this? Is the extra insurance a good idea?
the only thing that bothers me about that is our hondas have alot higher oil pressure than domestics. my friends have low oil pressure (i forgot what pressure range). my car has more oil pressure at idle than theirs get peak. just something to think about.

Does exactly what you want when you wire into your igntion.</TD></TR></TABLE>
I don't know if Summit has others, but the description on that one makes me nervous.
"Our Summit oil pressure safety switch shuts down your engine when your oil pressure drops below 7 psi, saving your engine from damage"
I think you're screwed in a honda if your oil pressure gets to 7 psi. exactly what the OP was looking for though, just need to find one with a higher pressure cut-off point
