can a d series alternator fit a b16?

my b16a alternator is hitting my chasis. im just wondering if the d15b7 series alternator will fit and will work properly.

i dont think they will fit..what year is your civic? it should not suppose hit the chassis

swapping a b16a si-r II on my 93 civic hatch. i had to force the mounts to go in. alternator spins, but not enough space to get the belt in. and the d series alternator looked smaller
