Transmission question about 90 crx

One of my roommates has a '90 crx, its a 4 speed manual. Is his final gear a 1:1 or an overdrive gear?

The CRX did not come with a 4 speed manual so someone put it in somewhere down the line. The 4spd STD Model Civic manual transmission came with a 3.88 Final Drive ratio

We just happened to have one in house
