I bought my hatch from a person that did the swap and I have been researching all about the car and swap and everything, and come to found out I Have a 96 civic hatch with a 97 H22A4 hatch but the ECU is P13 : 93-95 OBD-1 Prelude Vtec, and its making my car redline a 9000 RPM's, can anyone tell me if I put an original H22A4 ECU in it will it cause any problems!!! And also redline lower because my engine in basically stock and I dont want to be throwing rods and ****!!!

 

why does it have an obd-1 ecu.....a 96 should have obd-2. h22 obd-2 are easier to find...why did they mix obd-1 and obd-2?? thats kinda stupid if you ask me. i would just pu the obd-2 h22 ecu in and that will prolly help alot of your problems. good luck!!
