my 99 EX/SI hubcaps/wheelcovers do not fit my 97 cx oem steel wheels?
I purchased a set of 14" '99 EX/SI hubcaps/wheelcovers to use on my 97 cx hatch 14" steel wheels. the hubcaps line up properly with the wheel lugs & valve stem, however they do not fit firmly into the steelies. why is this? i had a set of generic wheel covers that fit the steelies just fine, but they look like crap.
thanks
thanks

what do you mean they dont fit on firmly?
The hubcaps have special lugnuts that hold them on. They're not supposed to snap on. The lugnuts for hubcaps have a plastic ring that holds the hubcaps on.
Buy some hubcap holding lug nuts with the plastic ring. make sure you use honda lug nuts, though. They are a ball seat type.

The OEM lug nuts that came with the car should have a plastic seal around the base and that is what keeps the hub cap on. It does not snap on it is held on by the lug nuts.
