He has no choice; I’ve been waiting for someone to install the Performer X on a B20 for months (nonVTEC anyone?).
Anxiously waiting for Combustion Contraption's results.

We're currently running a Peformer X manifold on our B20 Vtec and we love it. makes good power consistantly for us to about 9100 rpm. Great midrange torque too. Tried the Victor X and this manifold worked way better.

Subscribed, I am looking for a IM which can keep tq high additional 1000rpm... I think my IB spec ITR IM is the reason why tq starts to fall at 8000 (86.5x89 LSVTEC).

what is the setup to your b20vtec ? any dyno sheets or number to show that the performer worked better than the victor on a 2.0 L ?

I will try and find the dyno sheets. The car was tuned at Whitfield Racing so I will try and get them. I believe he has them saved on his computer.

i read many threads showing that the performer x can make good midrange and great topend on 2.0 builds. If portmatched with a 70mm throttlebody and AEM 3' CAI you cant go wrong with the performer x!

Those are really good numbers. What comp. ratio is the motor setup that your running 91 octane? Just curious. Put some slicks on that bad boy and go bust some 12 sec et's. I'm still trying to find the dyno sheets. As far as my Gude cams , Bill made these cams specifically for ur setup and I can't seem to remember the specs. I'll call him and see if he'll share the numbers.

funny you metion that i just had my motor tuned today. and it stop making power at 7500 with ib manifold. don't know if it's due to that or the fact that my head is unported. check my sheet it's in the b20 dyno thread. i'm in for some performer x results.

I carry power higher with IB manifold on a bigger motor.... so I think a properly ported head can help U until 8000-8300 when IB manifold might become restrictive. I do not know what we can expect from Performer-X vs IB on a 2l over 8000.

The IB ported ITR IM peaks at 8,250 on my 2 liter motor. I have not yet tested the PerformerX. For comparison's sake, a JG custom sheetmetal intake manifold designed for drag racing peaked at 9,000 RPM or so on the same motor.

Street tires would be dope. There's some homies from P.R. that went 12.3's on street tires in a DC chassis also. Go get it!

hmmmm...ok...so i've never seen this manifold before but i'm currently running the Victor X. So you're telling me that if i switch over to the Performer X manifold, i'll make more whp and torque than i do now???
