Apex-i Turbo Timer - A/F values?

Apex-i Turbo Timer - A/F values?
I've connected my recently acquired Apex-i Turbo Timer into the O2 sensor from the ECU. Apparently from what I can understand of the instructions, it states that I need to input a value for the O2 sensor or something? I'm not exactly sure what this means or what I'm supposed to do here.
Can anyone shed some light on this for me?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
